God consciousness is a state of consciousness in which the identity of the individual merges with the identity of the entire universe. It’s akin to a drop of water realizing it is part of the whole ocean.
Consider the universe as an infinite organism: you are a “cell” in this divine organism, but simultaneously the whole “body”. Currently, you may be experiencing life as a “cell”, but it’s possible to shift your perspective to experience life as the entire organism.
To experience itself from a limited point of view and entertain the illusion of duality, the universe incarnates as an apparently separate entity from itself. From the consciousness of the whole, you’ve moved to the consciousness of the individual. However, since the separation from the totality is ultimately illusory, it’s possible to transition from human consciousness back to God consciousness.
The universe is intelligent and alive, you can access the infinite intelligence of what has created you and the entirety of life. From the materialistic and scientific viewpoint God consciousness doesn’t make sense, since according to science the universe is just dumb matter, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth.
What does God Consciousness Feels like?
The best way I can describe God consciousness is that it feels like plugging your individual consciousness into the consciousness of the universe, it feels like connecting your self to “the internet of the universe”, so to speak. Thanks to this connection to the whole, your capacity of understanding becomes absolute.
There are various degrees of God consciousness. The superficial levels are characterized by a recognition of the underlying unity of all creation, on the deeper spectrum there is the realization of oneself as God and consequent total omniscience about the nature of existence.
The following are some of the insights that I’ve had through my experiences of God consciousness:
- The universe is Mind
- Death is unreal
- Consciousness is acausal, a true miracle
- Life is a game
- I am consciousness
- Consciousness is eternal
- The present moment is eternity
- The present moment is absolute truth
- There is no material universe, everything is consciousness
- Reality has an intelligent design, there is nothing random about it
- The metaphysical principle that binds the universe together is Love
- Evil is illusory
- God is Love
- Love and infinity are the same
- Reality is holographic and fractal; every part is the whole and the whole is in every part
- The field of consciousness that you constantly experience in the now is all that exists
- The field of consciousness that you constantly experience in the now is infinity
- There is only one consciousness, and there are no others
- Metaphysical Love is the recognition of the absence of another, you are everything and everyone
- You already are that which you seek, infinity is right here, right now. You have never moved one inch from heaven
The visuals can vary from the simple recontextualization of everyday experience as divine, through the appearance of various religious symbols, to a full blown inner experience of the Mind of God. How to achieve God Consciousness
1. Psychedelic Substances
At the time of this writing, I’ve been able to access God consciousness only through the use of psychedelic substances such as 5-Meo-DMT and 5-Meo-MALT. These entheogens are the fastest and most reliable tools to experience such profound states that I’ve found so far through my years of research. For this very reason, they need to be treated with the utmost respect; they are not intended for recreational use. A substance like 5-MeO-DMT can melt your individual identity into the Mind of the universe in about five minutes or less, so you should be prepared for such an experience and be ready for it; otherwise, your experience could be terrifying.

2. Kriya Yoga
If you want to access God consciousness sober, Kriya Yoga is your best bet. I can affirm with a good level of certainty that God consciousness is accessible through the practice of Kriya Yoga; the only downside is that it requires decades of dedicated practice. This practice has to rewire the functioning of your organism and start the production of endogenous psychedelic substances in your system. I’ve accessed deep non-dual states with Kriya Yoga, even though so far I haven’t reached God consciousness through it.
Even if you never access God consciousness through Kriya Yoga, it is still a practice that I highly suggest you adopt. Psychedelic substances can skyrocket you into incredible states of consciousness, but Kriya Yoga can help you drastically improve your baseline state of consciousness.
3. Other Spiritual Practices
Practices such as dark room retreats, fasting, deep breathing exercises, and various forms of meditation have been reported by spiritual seekers throughout the ages to bring about God consciousness. Don’t kid yourself though; if you want to access God consciousness sober, you will have to practice for hours and days on end. You are not going to access such a deep state of consciousness by meditating 20 minutes per day – unless you are extremely genetically gifted.
Go Beyond Beliefs
On this website, I write about content that goes against everything modern Western society teaches us about the nature and structure of the universe. You should be skeptical and put to the test everything you read here and elsewhere about spiritual enlightenment. At the same time, don’t make the mistake of discarding information just because it doesn’t fit with your worldview.
The best aspect of non-duality is that it affirms that everyone can know Truth directly; there’s no need for intermediaries. You can know Truth and go beyond beliefs and hearsay. Don’t be in a rush; take your time, be gentle with yourself, but walk this path of inner exploration. It’s going to help you reach a level of inner peace that no amount of worldly achievement can ever give you.
